moulinex major wheels

hi guys just had a thought dont know if anyone can help i have a moulinex major in brown and white has the headlight etc its mint but the only thing i dont have is the rubber treads for the back wheels because of this it doesnt quite hit the floor as it should can anyone help with this as to where i can get the treads or suggest an alternative

Hi Dave, My Moulinex Standard is missing the same tread on the wheels.
I've never thought of looking for a alternative.
I wonder if a black rubber belt will look ok??

It will look fine as the original treads were black. Whether it will be too thick or not remains to be seen, as there is very little space between the wheel and the cleaner for the wheel to turn inside. Also, the tread were wider than a drive belt, but that would only matter from an appearances point of view.
