Sam... ;)

I don't remember if I told you the last time we talked or not, but I have a Model 33 Convertible that I've been thinking about Selling for a little while now... ;)

I Won it off ebay SEVERAL Months ago and Rebuilt it from the Ground up, so needless to say Sam, it Runs like NEW!!!!!!!!!!!! :D It's ALL ORIGINAL to, EXCEPT for the Cord, yes, unfortunately, I had to replace the Cord, with one from a Model 1030; however, the ONLY DIFFERENCE between a 1030's Cord and the Original Model 33 Cord, is that, as you already know Sam, the 33's Cord says Hoover on the Plug, BUT, from a distance, you would think it is ALL ORIGINAL, only a Hoover EXPERT could tell the difference... ;) My 33 is EXACTLY like Jeff Parker's Mom's 33, with the ORIGINAL Red Switch and White Bag Spring, that STILL has it's Cloth on the inside... ;) Yup, I Bought my 33 because of Jeff Parker's, but because I just Bought a NEW $32,000 Chrysler, a Red and Black, TURBO, Convertible Chrysler, one that looks EXACTLY like a 32 Roadster, well, I'm BROKE now and need to Sell some of my Vacuum Collection you know, lol!

I do HATE the thought of Selling my 33, especially what with all the work I put into it, but if the Price is right and it's going to someone like you Buddy, well, I guess I can part with it... ;)

I do have other Convertible's and Parts that I'm Selling as well, plus my Neighbors down the Street, just gave me the other Day, two Vacuums from the LATE 1970's, another Convertible and a Blue and White Eureka, so we'll see what I'm going to Sell and all... ;)

BTW, here is a Photo of the 33-

I might can help

Hey, guys, I might can help, I have a lot of Lux machines, as well as some Tri-Stars, I don't have anything "NIB" but of the machines I do have, I work the motors over and clean and service them to make sure they are in top working order. I currently have a G-4 Kirby on e-bay, with a Buy it Now price of $130.00. If anybody is interested in my machines, please contact me by email: [email protected].

Brandon

Yes, you can see a Photo of my NEW Chrysler and although it's Built off of the Prowler's Chassis and looks just like one, but a 4 Seater, it's not though... ;)

It's a Red and Black Chrysler PT Cruiser Convertible TURBO!!!!!!!!!!!! :D Now, although you see PT Cruiser's EVERYWHERE ALL OVER THE WORLD, including Japan, as I said, mine is a Convertible, a TURBO Convertible Model, which is Built off of the Prowler's Chassis, so it's actually NOTHING like the PT Cruiser SUV Sedan's you see on a Daily basis, in fact, I recently found out, that the Convertible TURBO Cruiser's are so COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from the Sedans, that VERY FEW, VERY FEW of the Parts are Interchangeable, so much so, that it's actually HARD to find Parts for them, even Chrome Accessories, which is a PAIN to say the least, lol! Yeah, they are VERY UNIQUE, in fact, it's been said in EVERY Auto Magazine, that there is no other Convertible on the Road, like the NEW PT Cruiser Convertible, not to mention, Chrysler didn't make too many of them, so honestly Brandon, you'll see A LOT more Prowler's on the Road, then a NEW TURBO Cruiser Convertible, which actually, makes me feel really SPECIAL you know, lol! Really, people look at me EVERYWHERE I Drive now, Top up or down, ask me questions about my Cruiser and I get Waved and Beeped at by all other PT Cruiser Owner's, so I sorta feel like a real Celebrity now, lol!

Yeah, I LOVE this Car, it's HOT, I only WISH it got much better Gas Mileage and had way cheaper Insurance!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any who, you wanted a Photo, so here is one of the MANY I took at the Dealer the Night I Bought it-

THANKS A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Funny thing is though, even on the PT Cruiser Forums and all, not many Members have a Convertible Cruiser, let alone a TURBO Touring Edition Model, so I'm having trouble getting help on how to Customize mine a little, lol!

To be honest with you, I wasn't Shopping for a Cruiser, what I wanted, was a Sebring Convertible, but when I saw my little Cruiser, well, you know the Story, it was LOVE at first site, lol! I even keep getting up in the middle of the Night to go out and check on it, lol!

Only real problem is, my Mom keeps BEGGING me to Borrow it and all, she wants to go cruising with the Top down and all, lol, but unfortunately, I let my Friend Tom Drive it when I first got it and because he didn't expect it to have the POWER that it does, Tom FLOORED it, the TURBO Boost Kicked in HARD, then the next thing I know, we were in a Ditch. :( We got it out just fine, but now, my Bumper is MANGLED underneath, the Intercooler has a small Dent and I'm Leaking a little Power Steering Fluid now, so it will have to go back to the Dealer sometime soon. :(

I should NEVER have let Tom Drive, but I was being nice you know... :/

Like I said though, my Mom keeps bothering me about going cruising and all, she wants to hit a Dinner and Drive-In with it, if we can find one you know, so I dunno what I'm gonna do about that now, lol!

My Dream Vacuums...

I guess while I'm here, I should say what mine are, but to be honest, I pretty much have all the Vacuums I always wanted you know, so honestly, I can't really think of any right now, besides, like I said, what with the NEW Chrysler, I just can't Afford to continue with my Vacuum Collection and have to Sell some of what I have in my Collection now sadly, so I dunno, I guess it can't be helped, I'm BROKE now and will be till my Chrysler is Paid off, 5 Years from now. :(

I do need a Bag for a LATE 70's 1400 Series Eureka though, it's Blue and White... ;)

Again Friends, I have 20 Convertible's and A LOT of Convertible Part's, including 3 different Bags, plus I want to Sell my 1981 Kirby Heritage, not to mention, may let my Heavy Duty Wide-Path Singer Twin Fan go as well, but we'll see...?

That would be the Sanitizor you're looking for Brnadon. It was made in several different models.

The 55, 55a, 66, 77, 88, 88 MarkII, Mark V, and later models such as the Centurion.

You may want to start hunting, as they aren't all that common unless you find on on e-bay. I found my first 66 at a ol time junque store when I was 17. Wasn't complete, only had a hose, wand and a carpet nozzle. I still have that machine 15 years later and just recently found all the attachments to complete it.

In fact that is my thought on this thread. It's great to know what your looking for. You should all do what I used to, and maybe other collectors have done as well. You can write up a list, and tape it up someplace where you will see it every day. And when you go out in your travels, keep a mental note of what to look for. Look in every single antique store, junk store, resale shop, garage sale, estate sale, thrift store and etc. cause some of those machines you have listed are getting pretty slim in the pickens...

None of these machines are just gonna leap out at you I can tell ya. It took over 15 years for me to have what I have now, and there are guys still pining for their dream wants and they've been collecting some 30 + years.

Good lists gentlemen, and I truly hope your able to find them to complete your collections...
