I dont like that Wal-Mart & Target tie down the vacuums! How can people know what they buy? Just let the vac fall off the shelf is better than having it tied down; who cares if it falls on someone?

Whhyyy??? I had a Fantom Fury in the late 90s and I hated it with a red hot passion. Perhaps there's something I'm missing about the desire for them to command such a high price now?

Well,the bagless Plastivacs are FOOD for the hungry trash trucks out there that like crunchy plastic--YUM-YUM!Remember-built in China-buried in the US!!

It is a sad sight seeing what's out there in the retail stores. Uneducated consumers buy on impulse, and have no idea of the quality that they'll get. We live in a throw away society now, buy it, use it for a couple of years and if it breaks, throw it out and get a new one. Friends of mine who own a successful vac shop tell me that many of the new ones break before they're out of warranty, and the manufacturer doesn't even have parts for them, so they just send them a new cleaner. Without naming brands, let's just say they're from overseas! Oh well...and the band played on!
Dyson guys will hate me---Dyson Dumpster.When I was taking my trash to the dump-spotted a few Dysons in the electrical-electronics dumpster.Shark vacuums eaten by the Kuka "Shark" trash truck-would love to see this!!Kukas are common in Europe and other areas.They have a large rotating drum inside their bodies.The tailgate has an Auger in it-Kinda like an auger compactor-but the body turns!Also these trucks-copies of them are becoming common in Japan.they are fast-the compactor works continously.No waiting for pack cycles as on American trash trucks.the Japanese like to bag their trash as we are doing-the bags make such delightful POPS when run thru the rotary compactor!To empty the rotary compaction trucks-lift the tailgate and reverse the drum rotation-out goes the trash!These types of trucks are neat to watch.Lots of them on YouTube.Sorry from the drift of vacuums-I like trash trucks as well as vacuums-BOTH clean up our messes!
