RCA Whirlpool Imperial..

1958...One just sold on Ebay for OVER 700.00 without the power nozzle!!!! One of the rarest cleaners ever, one of the very first power nozzles on the market, and the same basic machine that Sears sold as a Kenmore...with enough cosmetic changes to make it different, Compact would go on to copy the power nozzle calling it the ABC, but they are somewhat different, the same only in basic appearance.

Glad you liked the pics

There are only 2 people I'd "imitate". They are: Maty Rocha.... fabulous display, and my very good friend, Tom Anderson, a true inspiration. I've "copied" lots of ideas from him. They've inspired me, I've imitated both of them, and it was flattering. But, really, threy're the only two. And, I admire them both, truly, because I can.

Yes your basement layout seems like a Real Estate wonder and sounds really cool to check out. I like house designs and construction too! Shame I didn't make it as far as I had hoped in Real Estate since I was joining when it was going doing terribly. Someday I'll probably get back into it.

Maybe I can help John purge his home of those Kirbys and other non-Hoover machines! Afterall, I just upgraded from that Brandywine Eureka to a Hoover Convertible Elite. I've been getting into commercial cleaning lately and the Sanitaires with their VGII and that Brandywine I had aren't doing well on lints and other things. So far the Hoover is doing well. I'm happy with my upgrade! The bag change is far neater over the Sanitaire SC886 shake out bags.

Wow!

<span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;">Looks like fun was had by all, as usual.</span>

<span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;">Missed being there with y'all.  We spent Halloween at Wilton Manors, FL.  A great place to be.  Streets are closed off beginning at 1:00 in the afternoon and it becomes a street festival.  We had a great time, still missing one and all.</span>

<span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;">"Things" are still not great with my leg and that limits my travel.  Hard to be either on or off my feet for long periods of time.</span>

<span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;">Thanks for posting the pictures.  I always enjoy seeing them.  </span>

<span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;">In the spirit of the Monster Bash, I think I'll go run a Hoover!</span>

<span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;">Best!</span>

Rob,

Someday you'll see the entire basement. The big one has double stone walls halfway up , thick beams, joined in the center with a big cast iron belt. In the middle of the room, there;s a "bullet metal" trap door into a chamber under the cellar. It's quite the setup for consrtuction from the 1870s.
