Well, today, we'll all convene. Chris, Joel, Joe Kassock, Rob Shore are coming. I have acall into J.T. and Mark, too. Mike Greavelin and Bill can't make it, unfortunately.
The outside is decorated, not too much inside.... just too much work at school, family, etc.
Homemade sauce and meatballs, Capatavi, Antipasto, garlic toast, chocolate cupcakes and Halloween cookies, peach/apple cider,and... yes, Kids, the infamous "Pittston Hospital iced tea".Photos will be posted, I've no doubts. The place already is starting to "bang, squeak, etc"...
Z"I was working in the lab, late last night..............."

Well,

Rob, 'Zippy" is here, we just had lunch. Chris and Joel are thrifting right now, and will be here in a bit. Joe Kassock will be here after he visits his dad in the hospital. Mark and J.T. MIGHT be here later. Mike called, so , he was here in absentia.
Let the games begin!! "Zippy" already has some HOOVERS going, He brought in a vacuum of another species.......it's out in the hall.
Stay tuned............

Spray it down on Lysol before it goes anywhere near the HOOVERS! Who knows what those 'other' species are carrying....Warpitis, Lose Handle Disease, Bag Worms...all scary, and REAL!

No worms here!!

Joe K came, we all dined at 6:30. Joel and Chris just left (10:30). Joe left about 10:00. Rob is here running an Elite (metal convertible, NOT the plastic Elites). He'll be staying here overnight. I hope he survives another night here in the "haunted hose". lolol Pics will follow. Everyone enjoyed a nice dinner. AND.... 3 (THREE) of the "cellar dwellers" have left the property. "HAPPY DANCE".

Well,

Rob and I sat up talking into the wee hours of the morning.
Today, we went to Mass At St. John's, then home for breakfast. In bit, I'll visit the "convent": and he'll venture on home. It was a wonderful meet, although only 5 in attendance instead of the usual "mob". Pics later today.

Sounds like all had a great time!

Sorry that I wasn't able to make it this year. I DID, however, get to North Canton and the Hoover Historical Center for the first time! Loved the tour. John, thanks for making me think about that! BTW -- did you get the e-mail I sent you from the hotel?

Anyway ... can't wait to see the pix from the Monster Bash, and hopefully I'll be able to make it next year!

Was a Great Time!!

Thanks John for the generous hospitality. I had a great time this weekend. Monday will be a big day with trying out the new to me Hoover Convertible Elite.

Always a pleasure to get together with John, Joel, Chris, Joe for a wonderful meal and general catching up. Lots of vacuum knowledge all around. Lots of vacuum exchanges. I now have a Hoover PowerMax Supreme canister and Hoover Convertible Elite 4.3/ 4.7 Amp upright and several repair parts. John now has a green Hoover Power Drive upright. Chris now has a Brandywine Eureka ESP upright with believed single speed pancake motor. Joe and Chris also thrifted many vacuums to include a unique whirlpool power head canister. Joe got a Kenmore power nozzle returned after a refurbishing.

Looking forward to our next meet up!! I'll be sure to post some vacuum pictures. Thanks again and glad to see everyone!!

Pictures are coming!

We must apologize for the no pictures so far! This MiniMeet was a smaller crowd than Johns usual and many of those that normally take lots of photos were unable to come this time. Hopefully next time we'll get to see Mark, JT, Bill, Greg and others whom couldn't make it this time.

We all still had lots of fun and had lots planned and we didn't even get to. John and I both bought snacks to put in Hoover hoods again and we just got so rushed with other things and by the time Joel and Chris arrived after there wonderful thrifting, it was time to dine on the wonderfully smelling Meatballs and pasta that were simmering in the crock pot along with the rest of the meal.

I've added an Elite!

I traded my Brandywine Eureka towards a Hoover Convertible Elite. Thank you Chris of C.S. Vacuums in Oneida, NY for fully refurbishing a great machine that you had around to suit my needs.

The newest member is the middle one in teal blue-- John Long or someone else may know the true Hoover blue color. It is a metal base with 4.3 Amp motor. I now have 2 Convertible Elites, a Celebrity II Elite-- which did not make photo and a Celebrity IV Elite.

In addition to the "New to Me" Convertible Elite, Chris got me a new Hoover A tube for my other Convertible Elite pictured a new tool ring for Celebrity IV Elite canister that is in this photo. I requested a Hoover genuine 4 bristle brush roll for the Convertible and he happily obliged!

The color names for your Convertible Elite are Sea Blue and Oyster White.

Congratulations on getting such a fine cleaner! I have a very similar Hoover Convertible, but styled in Mint Green, no headlight, and a houndstooth check outer bag.
