Very rare Sanitaire power team canister with RotoMatic power team. Model 5490B

I know the power head it should run a VGII, but the suction unit is very unique. Never seen one like this before. I'm guessing circa 1990?

Black kirby handle

Hello people, i was surfing ebay and i found a kirby 508 with what i think is the original handle. im not shure if this is rare or not but here is the link

Kirbykid, the 508 handle would be gray not black. The handle in that auction is from a model 505. The 508 handle grip looked exactly like the 505 grip only it was gray. The Model 509 had a smoother gray grip. So the 508 grip was a one year only item. Hope this helps.

The belt lifter on the 508 was a one year item as well, and that is the correct belt lifter on the vacuum.  The update was subtle but distinct on the 509.  I think the 509 belt lifter was carried through to the 515.
