VacuumLand – Vintage & Modern Vacuum Enthusiasts

Help Support VacuumLand:

Way to go, Gary!!! Nice find! Never saw that before!

I guess this falls into the category of "Automotive Tire Stores" selling a wide range of products, including household appliances. Firestone still has branded automotive service centres in Toronto - there is one near me that recently did my Ontario Emissions Test on my 1996 Toyota Corolla. But in Canada, I don't ever remember the "Canadian Tire" retailer contracting an appliance-maker to slap a private label on their products.

I guess this "Firestone-branded Eureka" falls in line with all those Eureka-made "Western Auto" vacuums that were sold in the 1950's.....forgot what the brandname was for Western Auto - it's listed along with other Eurekas and Monty Wards in the Consumer Reports tests of the era.

Miele Champagne

A very nice Miele with good type floor brush and electric power nozzle. When I do so these it helps me understand the difference between QUALITY and the usual department store vacs.See this and more at Ebay seller leisurelady65.
