Vacs of my childhood.

You have some amazing ones.

My grandparents had that Hoover ALpina 1200.
My aunt had a 612 and a neighbour had that Lux Dolphin at one point.

Fab to see them all again.

I SO wish I had a Turbomaster Softbag to complete the set.

Great collection there... not sure what some of them are, you didn't put names to all the pics? Are any like that Hitachi on Youtube. I'm always interested in the sound and noise from different makes/models.

What great pictures. I loved the Z80 Electrolux. What is the age of that machine? I also noticed how similar the rug tools were on the different tank machines. Thanks for sharing.

OMG..

Good god James,

So many vacuums with memories for me there. My first child minder had that Hitachi Powerhouse, my Mum's best friend had the TP2, the woman next door to my child minder had the maroon lux and my grandparents had a 610. Thanks for posting these - much appreciated!

And I notice you're in Derby. I was there not too long ago wandering around the Westfield Centre - a bit posh isn't it? They're supposed to be building one of these near me but so far, it's not happening!

great selection there James, intreagued by the Regina Housekeeper, is it one of the UK models?? I remember selling those in Trident electrical in the 80`s....great concept, crap build....

Anyone ever come across the original Hitachi upright the CV50D??
