Mini meet last Friday

Last Friday Joe k a s s o c can I went to Chuck Chatham's vacuum store in Lewisburg. Here are some photos[this post was last edited: 8/29/2022-12:08]

Chuck has a pristine model 150 it looks like it just came

Out of the box.

He was most gracious to both of us.

We both picked up some great little items at his store.

I purchased a few machines from him and I think he was quite shocked when I wanted to buy a brand new Riccar. He is a fantastic man, and I’m proud to have made a friend in him.

He is a great guy.

I first met him at The VCCC convention here.
Joe got some tools, a "tilted Connie", and, finally completed an Electrolux set.
I got some tools, lenses, wands, and some Convertible jackets.

I called him earlier in the day

to see if it was OK to drop in.  I find it's usually better to warn people when I'm coming..


 I brought him some cookies.  He had them at my house, and I brought him some I had made the day prior.


 


I got some floor tools as well as a blue handle grip in addition to my other purchases.


   Joe and I will return  in a few weeks, I'm sure.

I wondered if Chuck still had his vacuum store. Miss him, he was a great member of the VCCC.

I used to host lots of mini meets. The ones I'd do now are much different.
