So my Golden Jubilee came with a 4A nozzle instead of the proper PN 2 and it had a broken throat so I went on a search for a PN2. I just got one in the mail from eBay. It came with a wand and hose too, which I was hoping to use for my 1205 restoration. But I was looking at pictures online and I think this might be a gden J hose. Is it? I attached 3 pictures.

Or maybe an Olympia One? Either way, it's probably rotten and leaky. For actual use in housecleaning operations, you're better off with an OEM vinyl hose that doesn't leak.

I have a vinyl hose that I use. I just wanted to know if I should take care of it because it's the match. Ive heard of people coating the inside of the hose with flex seal?

That's definitely a later Olympia One hose (note the vinyl cuff which Olympia One hoses didn't have at first). The Golden Jubilee hose is white with blue and gold tracer. FYI, flex seal works well on those old hoses.

You should easily be able to make out the proper hose color for the Golden Jubilee in the photos.

That’s an Olympia hose

It’s an Olympia hose and if it leaks and you don’t want it you should at least take off the handle and save it as they are interchangeable with the vinyl hoses.

To do this you Remove the two screws and then unsnap the underside where it wraps around the power outlet then carefully pull it off the power outlet and then the opposite end’s prongs will slide out of their notches. The main part of the handle will now just slide off the hose.

You will want to...

Remove the hose handle when you do the coating process so it won’t get gooped up.curious how that will turn out.
