One on CL, looks ok, said runs fine, wondering how old this might be before I make a drive maybe?

Check for a date code on the data label under the unit ... Miele's are fairly intuitive.

This is from the dealer site:


WHITE PEARL perlmuttmetallic S434I 07/1995 03/1998 Vacuum cleaners Miele US
WHITE PEARL perlmuttmetallic S444I 12/1997 10/2000 Vacuum cleaners Miele US


So it could be from 1995 - 2000 assuming it is an S434 or S444

Make sure none of the white plastic pieces are broken as they are no longer available.
Those are some of the coolest old Miele's made for sure though!

Thanks for that, I still have not heard back, it was listed 15 days ago, updated 5 days ago as of yesterday she said not sold, but won't reply with detailed info, or agree to me making a 15 mile drive, so not a clue

VacuumDevil is correct about the plastic.

My S326 was my all time favorite Miele, but the lid on the tool compartment kept breaking. It can be a challenge to find those machines fully intact.
