My mind has been all over the place recently when it comes to vacuums, but I've recently been inspired to try out a Miele. Earlier this week, I stopped into Bed Bath & Beyond and was surprised to see they carried Miele. I should probably stay up to date on these things. Anyway, I took the two models off the self, the Titan and Olympus, to study. They seemed very impressive. From my very limited time I had with them, they both seem extremely maneuverable and sturdy. The rug-floor combo tool on the Olympus was actually what I was most excited about. Up until now, the traditional Electrolux tool was my favorite, but the Miele just seemed so well built and efficient. Plus, due to the contemporary crush-proof hose and aluminum wands, it seemed like the tool glided across the carpet.
Since we have pets, I would of course be more inclined towards the Titan. The electric hose was, as expected, heavier but nevertheless impressive. The powernozzle, the Electro-comfort, still glided and seemed solid as well. The bag was a tad small though.
I know the community tends to lean towards Sebo when it comes to German machines. However, Sebo is much more expensive in most cases, and I could never afford anything more than an S2 Miele anyway. So am I crazy to be considering such a BOL product? Are there any known problems I should be aware of?
