If Hoover can remake the General Electric Roll-Easy, I guess Miele can remake the Lewyt. Hoover's version of the GE was terrible.

Those big wheel Lewyts always remind me of the garbage cart I have to push to the curb every week.

Tom, criticize all you want. The Lewyt Big Wheel was actually a pretty darn good vacuum for it's time. High quality tools, decent build and good suction for a vac from the 50s. Now, this bagless version makes it a modern design people will want to buy and use.

Speaking of the Lewyt Big Wheel, I actually have 1 that is getting refurbished and a new motor going into it.
