Miele Dynamic U1 Maverick Upright Vacuum, 11/18-12/12

Miele has a couple of special deals going on from 11/18-12/12.

So how does the Miele U1 Maverick compare to the other more expensive Miele uprights like the Dynamic U1 Twist?

Exactly...

The same. Maverick is the model replacing the Twist, same machine new name and color. Every Miele upright performs the same, Twist/Maverick lose the light and only have an AirClean filter, Salsa/Jazz have a light and a HEPA filter, Cat & Dog has the STB101 Mini Turbo tool and the Active AirClean filter with charcoal. All other models are currently being discontinued by Miele, we won't get any more electronic/automatic control uprights here in the states.

It's too bad we don't have ANY Miele uprights on sale in Canada anymore. Wonder why? Too many problems?

So is the Miele Maverick still made in Germany? OR did they move it to China?

Still...

Germany. Only machines that will be made in China at this point in time AFAK are the QuickStep S1/Swing H1, C1 Compact, and C2 Complete Limited Edition. All other machines are made in Germany. Although even the "Chinese" machines use parts made in Germany, they're about as Chinese as Tacony machines are "American".
