Micro Lined Bags

I need to replace the bags on one of my vacuums and would like to know opinions regarding Micro Lined and other aftermarket bags. How do they compare in quality to OEM bags? Thanks!

Hi, Bill. I have found that using no-name brands don't work that well. I was vacuuming up kitty litter and saw what looked like a cloud. The brand was Micro-Liner. So now I just buy the name brand bags. I usually find them at thrift stores. I hope this helps and HAPPY HOLIDAYS to everyone here....Bill in Az.....

just responded on another thread about this. results must vary by model of machine. ive only had excellent results with "Micro-Lined" bags, though i think ive only had a chance to use hoover type A and eureka F&G. i think there is another brand different from Micro-Lined called micro liner? ive also noticed that Panasonic upright bags, Micro-Lined brand, work very well.

I guess that brand isn't all bad. I have one in my new Royal Everlast upright and I found 25 more of that Hoover style A bag. I think it depends on the type of dirt that you are vacuuming up. That damn new Royal vac is SOOO loud that I have to put my Bose headphones on. But I still LOVE it.....Bill in Az.....

I use them regularly.....

and really like Micro-lined bags. I'll typically prefer them actually unless I can get a bag that claims to be HEPA, then I'll go with it. I use them in uprights and canisters and have found them to be quite good, especially for the price.

Is that what folk in the UK would know as 'double-walled' bags?
