Following the Monster Mash Bash II in Pittston where I acquired a lovely plastic base Convertible, I of course had to bring it down to John Gregory for the diagnosis, operation, and photo op!

I will start by saying that this machine needed a whole lot more work than I bargained for.......but John in his infinite generosity would not take a nickel for the work and the parts that went into my cleaner. He's a truly kind person! Talk about giving it forward!

All clean under the hood, but my GOD is that top bearing dry. This will never do!

Since a dry rotted outer bag will never do, John was so kind to give me this beautiful black commercial replacement bag that he outfitted with a top fill Type A fill tube.

Type A fill tube and a HEPA cloth bag too. Genuine Hoover, of course!

Trying to put the bag on, but it isn't fitting quite right. Why could this be? A bent plate. That's what. We must soon fix this!
