SO, today I received a Maytag WindTunnel U5450 based on the USA branded Hoover WindTunnel and it is identical in all but name to the American version, not sure what the model number is but it looks exactly the same as mine apart from the lettering and the American version has a bag full indicator piston on the bag door.

I am very pleased with it so far, I believe it was manufactured in December 2000, (that brings back memories!)

I have an unboxing video of it coming up, unfortunately it is in two parts as my battery died, then I also have a demo video of it in action and an overview of the cleaner.

Here are some photos anyway.

Embeded Dirt Finder!

Carpet is clean when light turns green! love it! Very similar to Turbopower 2's Autosense except it doesn't turn up the power.

Not sure what the post motor filter is graded, it does state claims on the side of the filter housing but not sure if it is just micro filtration, it is certainly not HEPA.

Hose is not very long but it is enough for most above the floor jobs. My dog is looking like she is ready to move out of the way if it falls over, lol.

That brushroll can damage certain carpets if you leave it in one place for too long and I wouldn't recommend it on hard floors. Mine is in storage at the moment but I must get it out again as it is a very good machine.

I have done an unboxing and review too. Oh, that dusting brush is probably a bit squashed from storage but a bit of a soak in very hot ( not boiling) water should straighten it out.

Josh, the video is currently uploading.

James, I remember seeing Jack's video, that was quite some time ago, it is rather
loud, but at least it is not whining loud.

Roger, I found that, the brushroll is very VERY aggressive, it tends to try and take off with it's self at best, I do agree however, that it is a fantastic deep cleaning vacuum.
The Dusting brush on mine was also squashed, which I show in my unboxing video.

Do you find the brushroll housing on your tends to excessively vibrate when stood upright, it does on mine and is rather annoying.

I can't remember if the brushroll housing vibrates when upright as the last time I used it was for the demo video. It is stored at my Mum's at the moment. I haven't sorted my dusting brush yet as it is still squashed, but I recently bought another cleaner with a distorted dusting brush that was restored using hot water.
