Hi all I will be making some videos on HOW TO REBUILD your kirby and electrolux vacuums. During these hard financial times I think people should be given this knowledge to save money. I can also sell the parts at a reasonable price from my ebay store "new2youvacuums.com".

That would be cool. I was just given several Luxes by a friend who salvaged them from a house before it was demolished. Most were in amazing shape. A couple need a lot of work. I've found their design to be straightforward and pretty intuitive. However, I still haven't tackled a motor. Would love to learn how to take one out, clean it up, change the bearings, brushes, etc.

Thank You

Richard, I can't wait to see the videos. I love my Olympia and AE, and hope to find more in the future and learning how to rebuild them will be a big help.

Jim

Lux motors are simple to rebuild

Yes I will show how simple it is to disassemble Several electrolux motors and change out the brushes and bearings, and clean the motor parts like i do with my machines.
