I am interested in selling a 1930's "Majestic" upright cleaner; they were sold by Montgemery Ward in their catalog. Mine is in like new shape, the bag is still fresh looking with orange writing, and the metal work has been polished. The cord is flexible and whole, and the switch--interestingly placed at the end of the aluminum handle, works fine. There is a height adjustment for various piles, and the attachment port is on top, and does not require the belt to be disconnectied. I do not have the tools that go with, and sadly, one bracket that holds the revolving brush is broken, and needs to be "machined" out, as the screw holding it in seems frozen in place. I do have the piece of the bracket, and am sure it can be repaired fairly easily, but do not want to keep the machine. Otherwise it works well, has good power, bearings seem quiet, and looks like it just was delivered for pickup at the store. If there is interest, let me know. I have a vintage page on my Pinterest board, "Sweep Me Off My Feet", under "TresGaiBear", that is the vacuum itself in all its glory.

Could be interested in it

Hello dialamaticman,
I most likely would be interested in it even though could not find your picture of
it. It would also depend on the cost of the vacuum and shipping charges.
Thank you,
Pete
