On the later Lux pn 4's, the front rubber bumper has eight slits in it. What is the reason for this?? (in order to move more dirt you have to move more air??, or were they put there in order to make it easier to push across the carpet (preventing the nozzle from sticking itself to the carpet??)). Anyone have any ideas on this one??
