Sorry I forgot the 10' hose images. Both are Plastiflex-made and the braided variety is about 12" longer than standard Aerus and both are conical like a Silverado hose was. The faux braided hose is like a Riccar hose with a braided cover over it and has strain reliefs. The accessories are better than the other Euro machines here but not as nice as Aerus, Rainbow or FQ makes.

Honestly, I prefer the stock Aerus hose to the braided hose. The old braided Aerus Electrolux hoses leak and crack over time, and I don't want to deal with that. The stock Aerus hose is really flexible and durable. I also really like the Aerus power nozzle, and we can't forget the famous Electrolux flip tool!

Braided Hose

It is nearly impossible to get these hoses, wands and other things like SwissAroma scents for the Platinum/Intelligence vacuum unless you find an Ebay seller on the net who ships internationally. The commercial hose is from the Powerprof canister and the braided hose is Intelligence. Since the electronic hose has 4 PCB boards there are compatability issues regarding voltage that the powerprof hose does not have. However the braided electronic hose is reverse compatible with the Powerprof unit. This hose is not like the braided gimp hoses of the Silverado era made by Lux subsidiary Lawrence MFG. There is no piano wire reinforcing the gimp rubber so the wire does not crack the inside of the hose and cause it to leak. It is the same hose as the 10'pictured just having a braided cover. Visually cool if nothing else. The Sebo ET-1 picks up significantly more dirt and is a much quieter, smoother and agile addition to this machine. I love the handle grip and telescoping wands, At least everything now looks like it belongs together.
