Yes, Erik, that's a de-moth-er (not sure how to punctuate this correctly), although I've never actually used it as moths don't really seem to be a problem. In fact, I'm not even sure that Aerus sells moth crystals anymore.

I wonder, though, how that price compared to other compatible vacuums of the time, and how much it would have been without the power nozzle. Another bit of research to do, I suppose. I do remember, though, that I saw more than a few 86/88's with the green power hose and power nozzle, which I guess means that people upgraded their old machines with the latest model's attachments.

Bill, I like those colors too, but on the red 88, it seems like they should have made the top of the cordwinder latch chrome to match the chrome band running around the back of the machine. A small point, but it puts me off a little bit.
BTW, I should apologize for veering the thread off track, but that does seem to happen in Vacuumland
