Yes,have heard of the Hammond player organ-indeed these are now rare and valueable. These are described in one of my books on automatic musical instruments.Hammond organs were also used in some DeCap series 105 automatic dance hall organs. The Hammond was accompinied by drums, other percussion, and pipe organ section. The organ played from punched cardboard music "books"Sort of the same idea as a roll but cardboard instead-and the holes in the cardboard book acutated small "keys" in the organs keyframe. Those didn't play by vacuum as US player organs and pianos did.DeCap still makes these-but of course no Hammond organs inside.DeCap made a very clever organ player device that acutally played the Hammonds keyboard. The Hammond and keyplayer were hidden behind the Decap organ facade. There are some YouTube videos that show the keyboard player working-very cool to watch!!They should have made it VISIBLE-folks would probably like to watch as the organ plays.the DeCap 105 organs that had the Hammonds came out in like the mid fifties. The DeCap (Harentals) division organs are made using the MIDI system. The Grymonprez ones use the music books. Both divisions are still in business today!they are in Belgum
