I got an e-mail from some guy named Louis (his e-mail: [email protected]) and he says to me that he is having trouble re-assembling the brush roll on his Electro-Hygiene 980.
He says he can no longer locate the original post that influenced his recent message to me.
He says to me per e-mail:
"Thanks!
Where was your recent original posting about the Electro Hygiene model 980? I can't seem to find it on the forum......Well, I won the bid and want to know why the new single row brush roll I am trying to put in is tight and the brush roll will not turn freely....."
He then said to me, later on:
"I know how to change the belt and brushroll. I just can't figure out why the brush minders ( the silver clips) seem to bind the bearing ends once you push the roller inside the nozzle.
Mine is the 3 amp which should not use the auger style brush roll."
If anyone has suggestions for him, Louis, in regards to brushroll replacement, please reply to his e-mail.
Thank you,
Ben
