kirbykid

Let me first say that my name is Hope Isleman. I have been reparing vacuums since I was 23 years old. I have been on my own since I was 14 years old. I have one daughter, who is 30 years old, and 5 grand children. Just thought I tell you a little about my self. I ran the Kirby Service Center In Ontario Ca. for 15 years. The owner wanted to retire, so he gave me every thing in the shop. The shop had been open for 38 years. Soon after I bought a storage unit that belonged to a distributor. Then I worked for a man that had been the top Kirby sales and top sales and distributor for years. I also did repairs for Bob Harr owner of Kirby of Redlands until he passed.

So what I am trying to say is Kirbykid that you could open your own small repair shop, with all the stuff I have. I will pull it all out for you and take some pitchers for you. I will ask for $1000.00 for every thing, think about it. I will also say that it would be best to rent a U-Haul and have a friend, yours, mine, along with me to deliver them to you. I will also say to you that I will teach you all I know, through emails or web-cam. You have my word on that. Peace Out for now get back with me after you talk with your parents. Please let them read all of this thread. Hopester

how would i store all those kirbies without them geting damaged or paying 250 a month. and ontop of school. and im only thirteen. i could probably make the $1000 by the end of this year with christmas and the deli. the deli is where i work. make about $500 a week if my parents are working full time and i need the cash. but i have school and i need to get ready for school. so the next couple of weeks i cant work and if so, off and on. do you think you could store it all for that long?

Regina's, etc

I emailed you earlier, but I figured you may see this before that. Do you have any regina housekeepers (color doesnt matter)or spare attachments? I would also be interested in hoover single or twin screw type brush strips or burushrolls. Thanks you!

kirbykid Hello.

Get back with every one soon, I'm a lot overwhelmed, sorry it's taking so long to get back with all of you soon OK. Today seems not such a good day.

Overwhelmed

Honey! Start putting this stuff on EBay. You'll make a fortune. Sell as "Buy it now". There are lots of Kirby parts I would like to ask you about. Vintage cloth bags, original cords, wheels, trim pieces no longer made. Your page is overwhelming, although I would like to just jump into those piles of Kirby parts and roll around!

I can't do ebay cause I don't have a bank account any more. I'm homeless, though I do have a place to rest my head, thank god. I have things on ebay Classified and a few others, but not one bite, just viruses.

I would love to move, I use to live in a little town called Bridge Port. It's on highway 395, going towards Virgina City. Population 350, I loved it. I lived in Canada once when I was little, I was in a foster home that took me there. That's all I remember. I've been out of state one other time since then.

A.S.A.P FROM HOPESTER.....................
I'm going to open another thread and post some pics of every thing I have hear, you might be able to fit every thing in a 20 foot truck. It's more than just vacuums. It's every thing I had left from my home that would not fit in storage. I had a antique store owner come by this morning and we filled her truck full of my things. I made $60.00 for things I've had for over 28 years, she had a great come up. I can buy some food now. You can be paid 9.00 hour, box of cereal is $5.00 HELL
