enamel paint markers, chisel tip.

I have a silver one that looks pretty good.

The fine tip ones are almost too small to do the detailing, chisel tip works better.

I started with the smaller ones, and decided the chisel tips work better.

this is my Olympia One (formerly brown).

I added the red and redid the black detailing on the side bumpers, and redid the lettering for the "Automatic Control", "bag light", and "cleaning selector".

Whooaaa

You did a great job with that.  Crisp lines, and those pens really add the detail.

I see you went to a custom wheel shop.  How did you decide on the wheels and where did you get them?

Thanks for the info on the pens.  I'm always amazed to learn of new products I would never have thought existed.

The wheels on the Olympia One were necessary since I fabbed new axles and the old ones did not fit.

I cut apart caster wheels from Harbor Freight.

I am surprised the paint markers are not mentioned more on this forum, since they are used for restoration of other items on other forums I visit (not just vacuums). (I also used them to mark parts as well)

the other tip is using thin adhesive foil for trim to restore chrome.

A trip to a hobby shop is advised for anybody restoring things. You would be surprised at how many items can be re-purposed / used for restoring.

Here is the thread on the Olympia One. (not many responses, looking back now)

This thread was before the paint pen detailing
