Looking for something similar

My mom had the blue vacuum except the hood was squared like the maroon one in the picture but did not have the headlight. I've searched high and low and cannot seem to find one and would love to have one. Help?

theres one on ebay right now, just like the brown hood but with no headlight. says it comes with bags and belts. see if thats it

Thats not it. Hers had the red writing on the bag and nothing on the hood except the Hoover emblem.

Yeah, I realized it wasnt the same before I even posted the #. I didnt look at it close until I saw your post and I remembered seeing it scrolling thru ebay. Sorry. I know the one your talking about though. We had one like the brown one but with the blue hood. I think it was a walmart model in the 80's. Personally I like the decades. Cool looking hood, and I like the square handle and the top filling bag. I just got a decade 800 a while back and I swear that thing is one of the best rug cleaners I have ever had. I got one of the new generic all bristle brushrolls for it and it gives them a completely different sound. much quieter, and cleans so good you have to put the height adjustment on high for a regular plush carpet just to keep the belt from burning up, lol.
