Looking for a Filter Queen Mini Pow-R-Nozzle

Yes, modern Whirlpool is awful! We bought a Whirlpool refrigerator and the ice maker (the style that’s a tray in the freezer, not the dispenser) broke after one year, 4 different repairmen and it never got fixed! So far, Samsung has been more reliable. Our Kitchenaid dishwasher is temperamental, sometimes it’ll just shut off. We knew someone that put all new JennAir appliances in, and he had nothing but issues! I stay away from Whirlpool! I will say that we haven’t had any issues with the Kitchenaid mixers.

I only will buy Hobart Kitchenaid (1986 and older) for that reason

Are you talking about the GE designed power nozzle? The Douglas power nozzles I have seen with Vita Vacs and some other oddballs are entirely different animals. That early power nozzle used by Filter Queen, Fairfax and Singer with the C-17 is an old GE design though I don't know who made it for the other users.

The Whirlpool geared belt power nozzle that was introduced in 1981 with the Kenmore Sears Best 3.9 is one of the very best and most durable power nozzle ever made. And it is still being made to day as the Titan T7, also sold with the Titan T9200 canister vacuum. They were made by Whirlpool from 1981-1990, by the Whirlpool-Panasonic joint venture from 1990-95 and by Panasonic from then till 2014. When Suzhou Cleva Electric Appliance Co Ltd took over Panasonic's Kenmore vacuum business they resurrected that old design with a new kind of wedgy upper cover and a slightly different base, but the guts are the same. I have a 1982 vintage version that I use with my same year Kenmore canister and I updated it last year with the modern chevron pattern brush roll, poly v-belt and modern drive motor from Titan. All the parts dropped right in and it is so much quieter and smoother this way. Cleans great too. Modern swivel necks and other parts also drop right in because the T7 is identical to the original Whirlpool design inside. All the screw holds and mounting tabs are the same and in the same places. Great designs never die and this is one of the all time great power nozzles.

No it isn't. The K88 is based on a GE design, not Whirlpool.

No, I mean the one introduced in 1981 with the Kenmore 3.9. I was also saying OLD Whirlpool, as that was good, NEW Whirlpool is a different story though.

Just an FYI the Rainbowmate from the SE's parts will fit into the mini pow-r-nozzle. This would give you a geared belt. I'm not sure if later models were the same internally though.

I'm getting confused. Are you saying the Filter Queen K88 power nozzle is from Whirlpool? I don't think so. The F-Q power nozzles I've had apart are based on the old GE design. Very different inside. The early 1960 through about 1974 Whirlpool 12 inch wide power nozzles had the air inlet on the side of the neck like a Sebo ET-1 or an Oreck without the fan. Completely different height adjusters too.
I have new Whirlpool appliances that have treated me pretty well. Their refrigerators and our dishwasher are outstanding, The stove a little less so but my wife is exceptionally hard on appliances. She constantly breaks crisper drawers from over loading and treats the stove like a campground fire pit. You don't want to know how she hammers vacuums O_O. Our washer and dryer are GEs and I am not impressed with them. The next pair will be Speed Queen commercial models. I have an old, pre-Whirlpool Maytag washer / dryer pair in the garage that I will refurbish and use in our new garage with it is finally finished.

I was meaning the power head that is now sold as the Titan T7. I am very sorry for confusing you though, that was not my intention.

The later ones do look similar (except the current model), so I suppose they are the same inside.
