I haven't been around lately because I was quite busy with work...

I found an ad on Kijiji last week in my area for "Box of Electrolux stuff", It was an older lady who posted the ad, and said she is giving it away for free. She said she didn't know what they are other than some "old heavy green and plastic brown Electroluxes". She said I can come by anytime and she would leave the boxes on the deck and I can take what I want.

WELL! When I showed up to her house, and walked on the deck I found lots of wands, a electric after market hose, tools, two Model 80s, AP100, and a SAP. I took everything except the two model 80s as I am not really interested in them. However, I thought of other collectors, yet the machines were in very poor shape.

So, for free, I managed to talk away with this! Two nozzels, AP100, SAP, tools and wands, and a hose. I haven't cleaned up any except for the AP100, which has been parted out for a very good reason. I'll post about that later.

Since I have no machines that are green, the floor brush, dusting brush, and fabric brush are up for grabs. I can also include the green PN too, although I am going to use it to make the brown PN if the brown one needs parts, but I'd still include it. I'd be willing to trade all those tools and PN for a grey PN 5 that matches a Silverado, I am in desperate need of one!

AP280 pn

If you want a powernozzel for a AP280 let me know and I should be able to you one for next to nothing or for free if you want me to look into it for you please email me.

Go back for the two 80 series green ones - at least for parts machines - immediately or regret it later! If they are red and/or cream 83/86/88, regret it for the rest of your natural born life.
Unless you have a green Z87/Z89 already, that is. :-)

1957 through 1972 Canadian Electrolux 80 Series cylinders are the last all metal vacuums, pull well over 70", are astonishingly quiet and hushed and the envy of our Electrolux collectors below our border. Search the archives.

As an unwritten general rule it is never a good idea to tell the Forum one has left behind a free or $10 vintage vacuum without stating good reasons such as rust holes, major missing elements or broken castings, since there is all likelihood that, to at least one someone reading the post, that vacuum may be their holy grail 'want'.
And although I know this is not the case here klectrolux...this is directed to everyone... it is bad manners to tell the Forum one has acquired a vacuum free and it is now available on eBay for 'not free'. After all, here in the VCCC we are among friends. Just sayin'...

only half kidding,

Hey Nathaniel :

re:Are those Hayden power nozzels? No they are the actual Electrolux power nozzles from the ZB87/89 (PN IV) and AP/AP100 (PN V). Both very good power heads.
