Hey everyone!

Some of you might know that I got one of my dream vacuums, a Lewyt "Big Wheel." I gave it a new motor, but the lid gasket is completely dry-rotted. My friend Chris sent me a gasket, but it was too small. I figured I could heat it up and stretch it over to fit, and I was right. Sad thing is, it doesn't touch the lit, thus rendering the gasket completely useless. If anyone has an original Lewyt "Big Wheel" gasket for the lid, please let me know. Please do not suggest using weather seal/stripping, as I want this to look as original and be as original as possible. Thanks again!

If you're going to the Convention in St. Louis in June, you can probably just get a Big Wheel for free. Tom said there were several Big Wheels in the treasure trove.

Sadly, I am no member. Although I would love to come, I don't think my parents will join the club for me. Plus, I want EVERY vacuum I own to be operable! Hopefully I can find a gasket!
