Hey Guys. Anybody have any spare Lewyt parts? I just got another of the machines from the 1966 Lewyt Fashionables series. This one is the model 2186 (blue). I need to find the wands for it yet. I also have the model 2372 (green) but I need to find most of the parts for it, including the accessory holder, as you can see.

Anyone else have some of the fashionables line?

I recently came across this ad showing a few other machines of the Fashionables line and the parts and tool caddy I am missing for my green one if anyone has them.

These vacuums are really rare so do not be surprised if this thread is dead in the water. I last seen one on eBay in 2017 when I first started collecting - didn't have any idea what it was and it did not look that interesting at the time - so I passed on it. That was a bad mistake. Never seen another one again since. I do have the Shetland Pony hand vac though, but I have never seen another Shetland canister vac since then.

Thanks for posting that advertisement, it shows my hand vac. Do you know what year that is from?

Also I think these would be from what is considered the "mod" era, if I am guessing right. The cool little designs and abstract patterns and colors that decorated everything of the time.

Shetland-Lewyt

I have seen, but do not have, red with snowflakes & a Fashionable with design of 2 Greek columns.I do have at least 6 canister,4 broom vacs,2 Ponies, later bigger 'modular'canisters, bags & floor polisher(ALL of which need new homes!).At least 3 are Fashionables.1 deluxe has the wall hanger for hose & a vibra beat type rug nozzle. Most SL canisters had strong hoses, thin rug nozzle, nice styling but were not known for quality or long life.I probably don't even have all attachments for mine. Many vacs of this period had flowers or woodgrain & many shop type vacs had graphics on tanks but the Fashionables were unique.

Hope to have pictures of these & more soon as this needs to be the year to empty the old building.7 collectors have been here this spring & others are welcome.Shetland Lewyt & Sunbeam will be among the first brands to be in some order before they leave the building.

Hi Jimmy:

If you dont mind mailing I might be interested in some of the Lewyt stuff. Would love to actually come but there is most of the country and a border between us.
