Lets See Your Central Vacs!

Well, my parents are definitely NOT vacuum collectors but they do have a Silentmaster that only my mother uses. My dad NEVER uses it as he hates dragging the hose around the house. They have an upright on each level to use when they don't use the Silentmaster. A Kirby Ultimate G in the basement, Dyson DC17 Animal on the main level, and a Sebo X4 upstairs for the bedrooms. I myself WISH I had a central vac in my new house as I've only lived here 3 years and gone through more vacuums than I can keep track of...not sure I could retrofit one in my house because it's a stacked townhome. However, I definitely miss the QUIET convenience of just pulling the hose around the house. I find my parents' house is a lot less dusty than my new house too. After my Dyson DC23 motorhead broke, they were nice enough to give me their 12 year old Miele S528 Filtration Guard canister and that certainly helps, but when I still was at home, I dusted everything with the central vac. Just not as easy with a Miele at your heels.

Hose Doctor...

Is a unit that stores 55 feet of hose in the wall cavity. It greatly reduces the number of inlets needed, and so also eliminates the tubing running to those inlets. In many hones one H/D per floor is all that is needed.

Well here are my central vacs

First is my Aerus Electrolux central vac with baby blue hose which we use inside the house.
