This was the vacuum that started my collection, and when I got it it needed alot of work.
The bearings were bad, the brushroll was bad, the fan was bad, and the rug plate was bad. So I replaced all those eventualy and now it's one of my favorite vacuum's

the generic cloth bags I but which are better quality than kirby bags because the cardboard collar is much thicker so it doest get all floppy after awhile, and it has a sticker to cover the hole after it's removed from the vac to prevent dust from flying out

love that kirby! did it have a metal fan originally? this may be a really stupid question but i thought they were already using the kevlar fan?

Heritage2

hi All i have the Heritage 2 in black and gray bag black trim it reminded me of my first Kirby 505 my parents had. I love it . I also have a few 500 series and the one and only Dual 80 with the four roll brush. I like those units very much with the four brush roll they clean very well and are much lighter then presant day Kirbys. I also love theshake out bag. Who knoes what the new Kirby will look like. Well have a good day Doug

I have stuff called "MAGIC WADDING POLISH"
and it's weird but it works allright.

I love my LII, best upright vac I've ever owned! Yours is a lot more shiny than mine, LOL and I have a black cord instead of a burgundy cord.
