I have to say, G.P.O. red doesn't really suit that vac, though on the positive side, I think you can get bright red flex that will match the colour, or you could just use a contrasting White cable...
You should go find a K6 telephone box and take a picture with that Constellation next to it...
Are you sure that the 822 SN does not begin with the letters HD? If so your 822 would have been produced between January & June 1957, and going by the number closer to June than January
New bearings bought today, cost £4.09.
Cleaned motor components and fitted new bearings.
Photo of the motor cover fan side, I had to drill out the old rivets which secured the bearing cover and oil seal, then had to drill them agene to allow the new rivets to fit.
