That is goregous! I have always liked those style Hoover cleaners, I believe at one time I had a 543 but it wasn't NEARLY as nice as yours. Thanks for sharing this treasure!

Thanks all, Im glad everyone enjoyed it! I actually got this from ebay, it was advertised as not running. I bought it anyway and found a disconnected wire on the switch. Its in excellent condition and runs nicely. I have one other special, its a model 541, all original.
