This past week was good to me with these three lovelies! The Kirby 516 came with its attachment kit and seems all original except the bag. A coworker said a friend of his was flipping a house and found it, so he rescued it from being pitched and gave it to me. The Sanitronic 50 was an auction find and for 9 bucks I got it and all the accessories! Handi Butler, Rug Renovator, and attachments! The Hoover 28 was being sold here locally on FB Marketplace. The old lady told me it was a wedding gift to her parents in 1950.

It sure is an aftermarket. Its a heavy material and larger than an original. When I first switched the machine on the bag inflated so large it lowered the handle!

I was wondering the same

Some of the after market bags were pretty nice! I sure wish Kirby had manufactured a few more models with the lit logo on the hood. Say blue on the Tradition, green on the d-80's, amber gold on the Classic 1CR's,red on Classic III's and Orange for Humans Heritage to match the bag! That 28 is in good shape, nice indeed!
