Hey Guys

1. Its a VERY rare machine over this side of the pond...

2. Its Green.....

3. It was made for Hoover Limited Great Britain by The Hoover Co USA....

Any ideas lol??

It Passed a PAT test......

It actually shouldnt have done due to the original flex- the inner core insulation is the old pre 1971 colour scheme- red for live and black for neutral. It also would fail on the fact I fitted a period plug without the half insulated pins ;)-the seller had fitted a new one but I wasnt having that lol!

Oh forgot to mention.......

I do also own the US version 2100- sadly tho the lid was broken on its journey across the Atlantic :(. I do however have a lid reserved waiting to make the translantic journey :)

Wow, Seamus :)

Looks like some cleaning's been going on! It's even better than yesterday - and you got a decent pic of the rating plate too! Did you have to change the camera settings, or was it just trial and error?

Anyway congrats! :D

Forgot to say...

We only had 3 versions of the Portable over here this one, one in Pumpkin/Seal Griege without the rewind and one with. Im not sure if the 2nd version was US made but the 3rd wasnt- it came from the French factory as did most of our Convertibles/DAMS.
