All of a sudden I get an influx of vacs! The Royal tank and Eureka commercial were both given to me by a friend whose grandmother had to go to a retirement home. The Royal Pro hand vac I got at Goodwill for 6 bucks! It's practically brand new! The tank is complete with all attachments. The convertible I saw at Goodwill, I paid too much for it but it's a model from my childhood so I had to have it.

Convertible

It was horribly clogged up, a snake of crap extended clear down to the fan chamber! The bag was hard as a rock and came out in two pieces!

You know, you can have your vacuums scanned at auto paint shops and they can match the color precisely.

Some places even sell these custom mixes in disposable aerosol cans, like regular spray paint.

Vacuums like that one, that run well but look their age, are perfect candidates for a strip-down restoration.

It could be fun. :)

Oh, I forgot to ask,....

I'm suddenly developing an unexpected interest in those old handhelds with the rolling bristles.

I LOVE your new little acquisition! So jealous.

Are they belt-driven or,... uhh... suck driven?

I'm concerned about buying one, then finding that it needs a belt nobody makes anymore.

Yer Killin' Me

Awww Maaaaan.

There are a couple little beauties on ebay right now.

I REALLY shouldn't.

I JUST bought a Kirby Omega, and last month a Kirby Classic III.

All I wanted was a vacuum like my mom had when I was a kid. I was never interested in COLLECTING these things!

What have you people DONE to me???

It's a sickness I tell you.

Like tattoos and potato chips. You can't just have one, can you.

By the way, have you seen that pristine 1929 handheld with ALL the attachments in the original box?

It's crazy. 88yrs old and still flawless and complete. Check it out. I posted it in the supermarket section.

Cripes. I'm outta control.

Very nice finds. I think my favorite of the bunch is the gorgeous red Royal Power Tank. Those were nice, powerful, well built machines with lots of power.

The Kenmore looks unique. Neat to find an oldie like that.

Great finds overall! Congrats on your newest additions to your collection!
