I don't collect axes, but I do collect vintage circular saws. I'm kinda getting into old wooden hand planers! We've got 3 so far, but could see that turning into more!

Michelle!

I didn't even ask for the prices! I have hand-mixers for every room of the house, If I got started on prices I'd have stand mixers for every room, too!

Luxy1205-I collect circular saws,jigsaws-most power saws.I don't collect axes-but knew of people that did.I miss that ReTool place-now finding tools has been more difficult.Have two Shopsmiths-a multipurpose tool that can be used as a table saw, band saw, lathe, vertical drill press, horizontal drill press, and a sander.I just need a shop space!!I am probably the only person that has Shopsmiths in the living room!!I know its strange living room furniture-but!!???-guess they could be used to BUILD the furniture-just need to find some REASONABLY priced lumber! Also have a small collection of different types and sizes of circular sawblades. When ReTool was here was able to buy some saw blades from an older saw shop that turned over their stock to them-Complete Belsaw shop equipment-someone else got those. The former owner got Cobalt dust poisoning from NOT having proper dust collection while grinding carbide tipped blades and tools. That is a hazard if you grind or sharpen carbide tools.Just don't breathe the dust!!!!Often those tools were ground wet.The water or coolant collecting the dust.

I know what you mean! We just went garage sale-ing this morning and Sammy bought me a General Electric stand mixer for $2.00! I'm in the process of cleaning it up as we speak! I'm thinking it's from the 1970's. :) -Michelle
