French

The Starlights (later Junior DeLuxe), Convertable (DAM) non power drive, and Portable were all made in France. The Powerdrive Convertable/DAM was imported from North Canton, I think the Concept 1 was too. The later revised Dustette and Galaxy were also French, not sure about the Portapower

Ryan: Not a smart move admitting on the forum your Filter Queen is a Daily Driver. You better find a modern Hoover to use as a daily driver & keep the Filter Queen in the closet, before John Long comes over to England to personally lecture you, LOL.
:-)

John: We KNOW what you would do to a non-Hoover....and that's why you aren't coming anywhere near my collection! LOL

I have my eyes PEELED!

Funny to see the "made in USA' sticker on yours. Too bad someone banged that handle under a bed or something. Nice to see a little piece of our beloved North Canton 'across the pond'. I'd love to get a 'senior' someday. I have 2 'juniors' and a few of the big commercials, but, a nice 'senior'..not necessarally a ranger, but..............
And, remember: I have 'my people' looking out for those non-HOOVER items.

I love my Queenie! it cured my hayfever almost over night and being american I find it quite quirky lol anyway, whilst we're on the subject of Seniors and Convertibles, heres my 1979 Ranger u4014. I've just finished cleaning it up, it really is like new!
