I always say when it snows it brings me good luck and I found this today on the day of our first snow of the season! Yay, love it, I've always loved the vintage magazine ads for these and was totally in love with the one I saw at the convention a few months ago. It was marked $8 but since it was the 2nd day of the sale it was 1/2 price day, god how I love $4 finds...

Missed it at first.....

It blended in with the floor and the bowls..Great find Robert! Seems to me you are becoming quite the vac fanatic. Guess you'll be moving some of those washers out to make room!

Oh Robert with the lovely arms, classic goodlooks and infinite charm. I just love that vacuum :)
LOL

Say now, Robert. I'm overnighting in Minneapolis this coming mid or late week on my way to Fargo, thence to Winnipeg. All depends on how soon I can get the act together to leave home base.

By chance do you know Don Barton & Howie of Barton Player Piano Service on 4th St. SE ?

I just looked at the picture again...

and while good looking, and charming, I don't see any arms on that Roll-Easy.

It has been reported to me

in strict confidence that Robert's arms are FAKE!! He glues them on for pictures, then takes them off. There was a glue shortage in Minneapolis this week, and that is why Robert is not in the picture. (Robert, this is another attempt by my sense of humor) Rick...

Wow! Congratulations Robert

Ida, you took the words right out of my mouth... Oh my God Robert - that is fabulous.

The collective karma of this group is unbelievable and unbeatable. Kudos to you on a great find.

Robert I still say that the two best places for Estate sales are Minneapolis and Omaha!! What a fantastic, fun, find! I just love that beautiful turquoise color and the tool storage box on top of it!!! Way to go!!

WOW!!! What A Find!!!

Great looking Roll-Easy, Robert! And complete with the tools AND the caddy for only $4.00? I think you hit the jackpot!!
Jeff

Hi everyone thanks for the good wishes on the Roll-Easy, its very fun.

By chance do you know Don Barton & Howie of Barton Player Piano Service on 4th St. SE ?
Hi Dave, sorry I've never heard of them before. That's over by the U of M.

Where's the glass carafes for the Proctor Silex percolators?
Broken unfortunately, the are made of very thin glass. But I see these at the sales occasionally so I find another.

Robert i might have a extra package of bags for it
Hi Ron, thank you. It came with a few bags, I will give it a test run through the house, but that wont fill up a bag. Will any other bag fit (or be made to fit) in this machine?

Nice one Robert, and coordinated with the kitchen as well, how did Gladys react to this "New Toy"???,
She didn't even notice it because she doesn't realize what it is until I start using it, then she'll be terrified of it the poor thing lol.

Wow!!!! What a find!

Hi,

That is simply an amazing find! Kind of what most of us dream to come across in our thrifting. I am still amazed you purchased that for only $4, I would have been amazed even at $8. And with the box for the tools no less!

Good luck with it, It goes great with your kitchen floor.
