Hi there, I've run into a problem with my Kirby tradition! I fully stripped it, right down to the bare armature, cleaned it and reassembled it- but I went to run it today and the motor blew out huge flashes of blue light, and sounded like it was arcing, also it was much louder than normal!
I wondered if you could help me kirbymodel2c, you have rather a lot of knowledge on kirbys( I wonder why lol)!
It's looking very sorry for itself here!

Tradition.

Sounds like you damaged a few wires in the armiture. That can happen without even knowing it when you use the tool to loosen the fan. Aside from the arching, the noise can be from a chipped fan, bad bearings, or any combination thereof.

This is why I chose to sell Kirby's not repair them.

Hi...

Hi Mr G, You will have to bring it in to the shop when all the snow has gone and you are off school so I can have a look at it:o)

Hope your having fun in the snow:o)

James:o)

Yeah you say 'that short distance' it's alright when your carrying a bissel easy vac, also it's up-hill... You can get lost lol!
I'll let you know when I'm coming in:)

Also James, I don't suppose you have a spare Kirby head you'd be willing to sell do you? The one on this is seriously wrecked,
In fact I might just try and find another Kirby in better condition, as to be honest this tradition ain't really worth it in my opinion- it needs a new head, the bag is really discoloured and stained, the miracle buffer needs a new belt, so does the head, the saniemptor is wrecked too, I'll think about it.
