1983 Heritage- Excellent condition overall, runs like new, good brushroll, bag has been washed.
The only flaw is that the bag topper and fill tube have been replaced with those from a Heritage II. $50 or make offer, plus actual packaging and shipping costs from 49203, or pick up in Jackson, Michigan.
Classic III- Very good used condition, fan has been replaced with plastic/lexan, runs excellent, good brushroll, bag has been washed. Has the triangle shaped handle grip vs. the pistol grip shape found on the Classic and Omega. Nozzle bumper and wheels are pretty worn. $40 or make offer plus actual packaging and shipping from 49203, or pick up in Jackson, Michigan.
1972 Classic- Factory rebuilt in 1994, runs excellent, good brushroll, very nice condition. Also has a plastic/lexan fan. Bag has been washed. $50 + actual packaging/shipping from 49203, or pick up in Jackson, Michigan.
1957 model 517- as far as I can tell, 100% original! The bag *may* be an early replacement. Runs good, bearings might be getting a bit tired, but not too terrible. All attachments including floor polisher are present, the only thing missing is the hose adaptor for suction. Everything is in very good used condition, good brushroll, original cord with red ends! There is a small (very small!) wear hole at the bottom of the bag, and the inside of the emptor is corroded. I have polished it and cleaned the bag. I bought it from the original owner. $75 or make offer + packaging and shipping (I would definitely prefer local pick up on this one!)
I think your prices are very reasonable and the 517 in particular is very lovely. However, I am not looking for any more Kirbys at the moment so I'll have to "pass." You should not have any problem selling them on eBay if you don't get any responses here.
It was in that condition when I got it, I did wash the bag because it was filthy. No logo or anything on it though. There is a slide on the top and it is open..
But I'd defiantly go with an early replacement. There would still be, at the very least, SOME logo left on the bag if it was an original, Unless someone washed it into a pulp. Besides, many replacement bags have the open-top style, an almost dead-give-away.
There was no trace of any logo left, and that is the only reason I even dared to wash it. the bag itself is a heavy cotton so I figured it would hold up. And it did.
