Does anyone know who "KIRBY VACUUM PERSON" on Pinterest is? He hasn't posted any of his own photos, just other peoples', even those with copyright notices on them, using them without asking first.

It would be nice of them to ask or at least maybe give credit . Tag the creator , I’ve seen some of my images there too .

KIRBY VACUUM PERSON HERE

i made a simple mistake of using some photos with a copyright.the person lodged a complaint on pinterest & the photos were removed.someone named ho hum made a serious threat against me on pinterest.totally not necessary.i did not get the least bit upset about my mistake nor did the person make a threat of whos photos i used.thanks to him.photos are a public image which can be used as deemed by the user.i PROUDLY display pictures of vacuums because that's what i like to share with people.i have many followers on pinterest.that's why it's called pinterest.i will not tolerate violence aimed at me for my hobby.just to note,i have many images of my own kirbys on the site.someone said i only had other peoples stuff. NOT TRUE ! this is america & WE ALL have rights.i will continue to post as i please but will be mindful of copyrights.

At least give credit to the person you are taking the pictures from . You are using other people’s images to get more followers by making them believe these are your own . You have nothing to lose by crediting the source .
If you are saving images on your device for yourself that’s no issue at all we all do that . But posting them on a social media platform as if they are your own is not the right thing to do .

Anyways I hope that in the future you will give credit to the creators . Or just ask , I guarantee you won’t hear too many nos as people will be more inclined to permit using their content with credit.

Example : source : vacuumland.org @ username or whatever website you are taking these from.

"sad such a nice old Kirby was made into a lamp" really? So maybe you didn't know that the lamp assembly is easily removed to replace with the original handle. The Kirby itself is not altered. There is nothing sad about it, some find it very cool. I got the Kirby out of the closet.

I agree. Years ago, some people have frowned on me for taking pictures of machines that belonged to them and presenting them here as if they were mine.

Still doesn't address his obsession with Charles Lester's kirby photo shoot. I don't think you should lust after someone whose already spoken for.
I'm just saying it's not right.
