Anybody have a Kirby Turbo Groom set they're willing to part with at a reasonable price? I used one years ago and the ex wife made me get rid of it when we moved a few years back. I'd love to acquire one again! Thanks everybody.

please excuse my stupid question,

but I am not that highly aware of Kirby brand names, even though owning and loving several Kirbys and their attachments. But wth is a a "Turbo groom"?

Is it the the haircutting device? Or some other thingy that I have not heard of?

Thanks for the enlightenment.

Joe,

I forgot to add to my original reply:

Assemble the Kirby as a canister cleaner, attaching the hose in place of the nozzle. Then attach the TG hose to the main hose, turn the Kirby on, and you are all set.

Essentially, the Turbo-Groom is like visiting a barber shop which has a Kirby.

It actually works quite well. I had one several years ago. I cut ,y,own hair and was vacuuming up the hair (with one of my Kirbys of course), and thought it would be nice to have one of these again!

Kirby Turbo Groom

I use it weekly to keep my hair super short. I've used it now for more than 10 years and when I think of the barber dollars I've saved, it just about covers MSRP for a new Avalir.

so I was right

Thank you, that was a very detailed answer with all the pics and the manual all along.

So I think I do have one of those here. (inside its Kirby cardboard suitcase thingy) (one out of three).

I have never paid any special attention to it, yet it did remind me of those awfully cheesy "Flow-Bee" commercials here on some TV sales channels. I was not sure who was it in the first place, Kirby or Flow Bee.

Yet, that thing (that air powered trimmer thing) is still around - and I have never turned it on otherwise but for a small "it works" demo. (I got that Druid type of a long mane - nothing will change that until the day I jump into the coffin). So obviously a Kirby trimmer is good for the brand name of it - never for real action here ;-)))
