Very rare 1979 press photo for the Tradition 3CB.

I had a postcard of this once,it was the same thing as the Electrolux postcards that the salesmen would leave in your door.
Notice how there is no power cord on either Tradition. And, the pic must be backward on the one with the lady using the shampoo system. The tank/blower end is on the wrong side of the Kirby. Love the 1970s paneling tho!

Brian, you have a keen eye!  I would have never noticed those things.  The other thing I noticed after closer examination is that the bag isn't inflated in the photo on the left.

The Rug Renovator pic was "flipped" or "mirrored."

Yes,for the left picture-since no cord--no power-so the bag is limp.In the movie "Airport" they show a scene of a janitor vacuuming the floor---no sound from his vacuum-and deflated bag-was a Sanitaire Eureka type vacuum.Like the models and the paneling!--the vacs,too!Kirby Tradition was one of the prettiest Kirbys to me along with the G5.
