Kirby Tradition Heritage Legend replacement Tubes

I have the original plastic tubes for my 'daily-driver' Kirby vacuums, and I'm looking to buy new chrome/aluminium Wand Tubes for them. Perhaps a telescopic tube?

I want to use these machines on a regular basis whilst conserving the original plastic tubes which are more scarce and fragile.

Can anyone recommend a make or model of tube that fits these Kirbys please?

I remember buying an aluminium tube replacement for our Electrolux. It seemed to fit perfectly. Then sort-of bonded itself to the handle and could never be removed again.
Of course I want to avoid this happening again.

Not sure if there are non electric metal extending tubes that fit a kirby, but it should work if you get a couple random metal extension wands and get a couple of the hose adapters off amazon.

any standard 1 1/4" wand would work

If you look cen tech has a few wands. Riccar or simplicity has extension tube.
