Thanks all for the info. I never really paid much attention to these little guys.
Les, I already knew the car models were not much use. That was the reason I never used mine, lol...
I already had a B&D car vac that I used and hated. It worked but I hated the cord and plug. I would get into the back seat to do there and jostling the cord made the plug come out enough to break connection. Rinse and repeat.
My car also had the lighter wrongly wired on the ignition switched section so that was harder on the battery (coil/module was energized the whole time I was vacuuming).
I quickly stopped using that unit and just used my mom's D50 with the hose and attachments.
I now use a B&D 18V Dustbuster, which gets the worst in little time. The big Kirby still is best for real cleaning.
I will not use car wash vacs as I do not want to know what is on the hose end from some people's disgusting cars. If I go to a full service wash place, I tell them to not do anything to the inside.
Anyone know what battery voltage is of the units that came with the HII?
Oh, wait it says in the ad - 5 cell = 6V. 'Most powerful' they say - wow..
I assume it came with a charging station for wall mount?
