Kirby Sentria Stiff Brushroll

Not only Kirbys but most new vacuum cleaners these days seem to have some pretty aggressive brushes, which leads me to think they could really do some damage to carpet fibers.

Although my Mieles have the same issue I have been cautious on using my Sentria on the new carpet.

Anyone have any insight or am I just being paranoid?

I have one on my G5. It does a great job. I just set the height a tad higher than I would with one of my Gsixes, which both have the older, softer style brush roll.

Gman: Kirby has 4 brushrolls available depending on type of carpet to fit Sentria.


The Sentria ships with the stiffest brushroll (152505) installed from the factory


 


 152505 = stiff bristles


 152502 = medium bristles


 159398 = soft bristles


 156197 = special for pet hair
