Sanitronic VII
Hey guys, I just got a pretty good Sanitronic VII from Craigslist. I'm a bit confused between the 562 and the Sanitronic. Was the 562 given a second name of Sanitronic? Was the Sanitronic VII a separate model from the 562? My serial number plate says Sanitronic VII so what is the color scheme supposed to be?

The Sanitronic VII, as you may have guessed, is not too far removed from the 562.
Notable differences between the two:
* The 562 is the one with the white cord, while on the VII it is all tan.
* Some tan trim on the VII (and the Dual Sanitronic 50) was a metallic copper on the 562. These include the bag cap, the handle grip, the headlight bumper, and the motor switch button.
* The VII is the one which, for Kirby, had pioneered the hose which has a universal suction/blower coupling, while the 562 had used the separate suction (motor unit) and blower (bag port) couplings like its predecessors.
